Bodmin College Celebrates 2025 GCSE Results!

Our students have shown outstanding resilience and determination, and we are so proud of everything they have achieved.

We're celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results this year, marking a remarkable improvement in student achievement and attainment across all measures.

Students, staff, and families are delighted and incredibly proud with the outcomes, which show:

  • a 9% improvement in students achieving the key threshold measure of a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths
  • a 13% improvement at Grade 5 and above
  • a 7% improvement at Grade 7, reflecting the hard work and high aspirations of students

In addition, overall attainment data has risen significantly – a huge milestone for the College and its community.

Since 2023, the school has seen a 15% increase in students achieving a grade 4 in both English and Maths and a 20% increase in students achieving a grade 5 in English and Maths. This huge improvement over the last two years has been thanks to the commitment, support and dedication from the whole team at Bodmin.

“We are delighted to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our students today. These results are a testament to their dedication, the support of families, and the commitment of our talented staff.

Our students should feel extremely proud of what they have achieved, and we are excited to see the incredible futures that lie ahead of them.”
