Bodmin College Celebrates 2025 GCSE Results!
Our students have shown outstanding resilience and determination, and we are so proud of everything they have achieved.
We're celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results this year, marking a remarkable improvement in student achievement and attainment across all measures.
Students, staff, and families are delighted and incredibly proud with the outcomes, which show:
- a 9% improvement in students achieving the key threshold measure of a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths
- a 13% improvement at Grade 5 and above
- a 7% improvement at Grade 7, reflecting the hard work and high aspirations of students
In addition, overall attainment data has risen significantly – a huge milestone for the College and its community.
Since 2023, the school has seen a 15% increase in students achieving a grade 4 in both English and Maths and a 20% increase in students achieving a grade 5 in English and Maths. This huge improvement over the last two years has been thanks to the commitment, support and dedication from the whole team at Bodmin.

Bodmin College operated a traditional sixth form model until 2025, offering a broad programme of both A Levels and vocational and technical qualifications. The outcomes shown above reflect the performance of students studying within this model.
From 2025 onwards, the purpose and curriculum of post-16 education at Bodmin College has changed. Future results will therefore reflect this revised approach, with a greater focus on career-powered education, progression and preparing students for their next steps in education, training or employment.
