Our school uniform is an important part of our school community, helping students develop a sense of belonging and take pride in being part of Bodmin College. It also reinforces that school is a professional environment where learning is valued. In addition, wearing a school uniform helps reduce the pressure on students to wear branded or designer clothing and footwear.

School Uniform Update – September 2026

We have reviewed our school uniform in line with the Department for Education's updated statutory guidance on the cost of school uniforms. From September 2026, secondary schools can require a maximum of four branded items, one of which may be a tie. These changes are designed to help keep uniform costs as low as possible while maintaining a smart and consistent appearance.

Pre-Loved Uniform

We are pleased to offer a Pre-Loved Uniform Scheme, helping families access good-quality school uniform at a reduced cost while supporting sustainability.

If you would like to request pre-loved uniform for your child or donate good-quality uniform that is no longer needed, please email bodminpreloveduniform@bodmin.celtrust.org 

Your child's Head of Year will coordinate a response and help arrange the next steps.

We warmly welcome donations of clean, good-quality uniform, which can be dropped off at Student Services during the school day. Your donations help support other families in our school community and are greatly appreciated.
