Our School

Bodmin College is an 11-18 Academy situated in North Cornwall with approximately 1500 students on roll, including around 250 in the Sixth Form and 45 in our Area Resource Base, Greenfield.

The school is the only secondary school in the town of Bodmin. Therefore, we are fully comprehensive and committed to providing an excellent education, in service of our whole community.

Bodmin College is part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT). The Trust is highly successful, achieving outcomes that are some of the best in the South West. Being part of this family of 5 secondary schools and 11 primary schools, allows us to work closely together to collaborate, to share effective practice, and provides exceptional opportunities to learn from each other.

Bodmin College has a wide range of facilities, including Woods Browning, a centre of excellence for vocational learning. We also work in partnership with Falmouth University and Plymouth Marjon University to offer degree level education, making us one of the only secondary schools in the country to do so.

The school is positioned close to the A30 and has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. This in turns provides plenty of opportunities for enrichment for our students.
