Admissions into Year 7
We are absolutely thrilled that you're considering Bodmin College for your child's secondary education! To apply for a place at our school, you'll need to do this through the Local Authority where you currently live. Once you have received your child's Unique Identification Number (UID), you can easily apply online. If you prefer, there's also the option to submit a paper application, which can be downloaded from your Local Authority’s website.
Opportunities to Visit
We understand how important this decision is, which is why we host an exciting Open Evening each September/October. This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective parents to meet our dedicated staff and wonderful students, as well as explore our vibrant school environment. We highly encourage you to join us for this event or take part in one of our guided school tours to learn more about everything we offer.

Admissions into other year groups
Occasionally, children enter the school outside the normal admissions point. If you wish to apply for a place, please apply through Cornwall Council admissions department (link below) and we will review applications case by case. If your child is allocated a place, you will be invited in to have a tour of the school and chat to the Head of Year when a start date will be provided.
If your application is unsuccessful, you will be given the opportunity to appeal against the decision and to remain on our waiting list should a place become available.
