Our School Unites for #HelloYellow to Support Young People's Mental Health

On Friday 9th October, we came together as a school community to support #HelloYellow, a nationwide campaign led by YoungMinds UK that raises awareness of young people's mental health and helps fund vital support services.
To mark #HelloYellow, students and staff wore yellow socks and accessories, bringing a splash of colour to our school while showing their support for an important cause. The day served as a powerful reminder that mental health matters and that no one should feel they have to face challenges alone.
Mental health can affect anyone at any time, and initiatives such as #HelloYellow provide an opportunity to challenge stigma, encourage understanding and start important conversations. By taking part, our students demonstrated a genuine commitment to supporting one another and helping to create a culture where seeking help is recognised as a strength.

Core Values in Action
The day provided a powerful reminder that the strength of a school community is measured not only by what its members achieve, but by how they support one another. Through their participation, our students embodied Integrity by helping to normalise conversations about mental health and wellbeing and Respect by showing compassion and understanding towards others.
We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part. Their enthusiasm helped to create a positive atmosphere across our school and reinforced the message that mental health is just as important as physical health.
Thank you to everyone who got involved and helped raise awareness and funds for YoungMinds UK.
