NEW: Revised upcoming dates
In light of government announcements regarding a staggered return to school in January, our arrangements for the start of term are as follows and detailed further in today’s letter from the Principal. A number of our scheduled Spring term events are also under review – we will be publishing an updated family calendar in the New Year.
Mon 4th Jan:  INSET Day
Tues 5th Jan: return to school for Year 11 and Year 13 students only, as well as VKW, Greenfield, Pathways and Work Skills students.
Mon 11th Jan: return to school for Years 7-10 and Year 12 students

Thurs 14th Jan: Year 9 Parents’ event – this event is postponed. Details of a virtual alternative at a later date will follow in January

Thurs 21st Jan: Year 8 Parents’ event – this event is postponed. Details of a virtual alternative at a later date will follow in January

Thurs 4th Feb:  Year 8  Options Event – this event is currently under review and details of a virtual alternative will be confirmed in January
Fri 12th Feb: Non-uniform Day (charity TBC)
NEW: Online safeguarding concerns
We have been informed of several online games and apps which have been identified as posing a risk to young people. Please can we draw your attention to the following sites for further information and guidance on these safeguarding concerns.

REMINDER: Symptom Reporting

We hope that it doesn’t happen to any of you but, if your child does develop symptoms at the end of term, we only need to be notified if symptoms occur within 48 hours of their last day in schoolReception will remain open until 3.30pm on Friday 18th December to ensure that this facility is available and we have staff on standby to track and trace contacts should the need arise. After this 48 hour period, you should follow contact tracing instructions from NHS Test and Trace
